Product Overview

The High Accuracy Digital DN15-2000mm Thermal Mass Flow Meter is a sophisticated industrial instrument designed for precise gas measurement across a wide range of pipe sizes. Built on the advanced principle of thermal diffusion, this meter utilizes the constant temperature difference method to provide reliable, real-time data for modern factory automation.

This thermal gas mass flow meter features small volume, high digitization degree, convenient installation, and accurate measurement capabilities.

Working Principle: The Constant Temperature Difference Method

Our thermal gas mass flow meter operates with high digitization and precision by employing two reference-grade platinum resistance temperature sensors:

  • Medium Temperature Sensor (T1): Continuously monitors the actual temperature of the gas medium
  • Velocity Sensor (T2): Self-heats to a temperature higher than the medium (T2 > T1), creating a specific temperature difference (ΔT = T2 - T1)

As fluid flows, gas molecules collide with the velocity sensor, carrying away heat and lowering the temperature of T2. To maintain a constant ΔT, the system automatically increases the supply current to T2. The faster the gas flow rate, the more heat is removed. This fixed functional relationship between added heat and flow rate enables highly accurate measurement of gas mass flow.
