Our external clamp ultrasonic flowmeter utilizes ultrasonic time difference principles to measure flow in DN50-DN700 pipelines. This non-invasive solution requires no pipe cutting, making installation quick and convenient. The sensors simply clamp onto the exterior of the pipeline for immediate flow measurement.
The instrument operates by measuring the propagation time difference of ultrasonic beams through the liquid. When liquid flows, the time required for sound waves to travel against the flow direction is greater than with the flow direction, and this time difference is proportional to the flow velocity.
