The external clamp ultrasonic flowmeter utilizes ultrasonic time difference principles to measure flow in DN50~DN700 pipelines without requiring pipe disruption. This non-intrusive solution enables quick installation and measurement while maintaining pipeline integrity.
The instrument employs advanced multi-pulse technology, digital signal processing, and error correction technology, ensuring reliable performance in industrial environments. When configured with ultrasonic heat metering functionality, it provides valuable heating efficiency reference data for the heating industry.
When ultrasonic beams propagate through liquid, flow causes slight changes in propagation time proportional to liquid flow velocity. At zero flow, sound wave transmission time between sensors remains equal. During medium flow, countercurrent sound wave propagation time exceeds downstream direction time.
